How Can severe Lower Jaw Pain Be Treated?

I had a tooth (# 15..on the upper left side of my mouth) removed by an oral surgeon. Now I m suffering from horrible pain in my lower jaw and teeth on my right side of my mouth and my right ear. Did he do something wrong? Why am I in so much pain 3 weeks later? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Well, the symptoms are not appearing due to the extraction of your upper jaw tooth rather it is appearing to be most probably due to some other causes like any infected tooth in lower right side of jaw, wisdom tooth related problem or jaw joint disorders..
So it is advisable for you to consult a Dentist and get a Panoromic x ray done as it will involve all your teeth and also your jaw joints so that proper diagnosis can be made..
If nothing is ruled out then nerve related problem can be ruled out..
As of now you can take painkillers like Tramadol for pain relief..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
